They are made from 100% British, free-range meat (ox liver or lamb’s lung), which is simply air-dried. Nothing is added, nothing is taken away. This means that our treats are a very pure and healthy product.

Dried Beef Liver Treats  

Composition: 100% dried beef liver.

Analytical constituents: Moisture: 20.7%; Protein: 56.9%; Crude Fat: 5.8%; Crude Ash: 3.8%; Crude Fibre: 0.1%.

Dried Lamb Lung Treats  

Composition: 100% dried lamb lung.

Analytical constituents: Moisture: 11.7%; Protein: 75%; Crude Fat: 5.6%; Crude Ash: 5.4%; Crude Fibre: 1.7%.

We are named after a dog called Beautiful Joe who survived terrible cruelty and helped promote animal rights over a hundred years ago. He was made famous by a book Beautiful Joe – which sold over a million copies.

Every time you buy a bag of our delicious liver dog treats, we give the same quantity away to a rescue home. So far, we have donated over £1,000,000 of treats to over 150 rescue centres throughout the UK.

Our treats are made by hand and in small batches in our kitchens in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. We are family business and use only British raised free range, wild and certified organic ingredients sourced from producers we know and have visited. 

Our treats are suitable for puppies over 8 weeks of age. Because they are so high in protein, we suggest feeding them sparingly (which makes them an ideal training treat).
